Zimmatic VRI

Zimmatic Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) is an add-on to a centre-pivot or lateral-move irrigation system that allows different amounts of water to be applied along any part of the length of the irrigator at any one time.

GPS Endgun Controller

This small device can be installed on a center-pivot or linear-move irrigator to control up to three end-guns or other outputs depending on the position of the irrigator. Ideal for linear-move or articulated pivots where the centre controller does not know where the endgun is, or is unable to control the endgun.

Z and Corner Arm Control

The Precision Irigation Corner-arm or Z-corner control system is a cut down version of the full VRI system which only controls valves on the corner or Z sections of the irrigator.

Buried Wire Guidance Design

When marking out corner-arms or Z-corners, the calculation and manual measuring process for where to bury wire guidance is very slow and laborious. Given the field and centre-pivot specifications, Precision Irrigation can design the buried wire guidance positioning to be marked out with high-accuracy GPS.

EM Mapping

Electromagnetic (EM) mapping is a method for mapping the relative conductivity of soils in a field. By creating an EM Map of a field being irrigated, we get a good insight into the variability of the field and this is a great starting point for creating a plan for Variable Rate Irrigation.
